There are many ways to report on your users in Fringe Learn.

LearnDash Reporting

The User Course Data report can be extended to include some additional fields, such as the Volunteer ID. Please contact your administrator if you'd like other fields to be includedd.

Tin Canny Reporting

Tin Canny Reporting for LearnDash gives you access to four additional reports that can be filtered down. To use these reports, navigate to Tin Canny Reporting.

Four reports are available:

  • Course Report

  • User Report

  • Tin Can Report

  • xAPI Quiz Report

All reports can be exported to Excel or a CSV.

Course Report

The Course Report gives you an overview of every course, including the number of users enrolled, the completions, and more. You can select a course title to drill down into individual users for the course.

User Report

The User Report gives your an overview for each user, including the number courses enrolled, number of completed courses, etc. You can select a user to see details about each course the user is enrolled in.

Tin Can Report

The Tin Can Report gives you a record of all Tin Can statements (verbs) recorded by the LMS. This can be useful when determining if a user has passed a quiz, the number of attempts required to pass, etc.

Verbs are strings sent by courses created in 3rd-party authorship programs like Articulate to let the LMS know a user if progressing the course or has completed the course.

For example, if using Articulate as an authorship program, a list of verbs can be found here: https://articulate.com/support/article/Implementing-Tin-Can-API-to-Support-Articulate-Content#verbs

xAPI Quiz Report

The xAPI Quiz Report gives you a record of all xAPI statements sent by quizzes in the LMS. This allows you to view user's responses to individual questions.

The Experience API (xAPI) is a software specification that allows for the record of many types of learning activities online, such as correctly answering a question in a quiz.
