Forms
Forms can be used to collect information from visitors on your site, such as through a Contact form. Forms are implemented on Fringe Learn using the Gravity Forms plugin.
Adding a New Form
Navigate to Platform Tools > Forms.
Select Add New.
Start with a template, or select Blank Form.
Enter a Form Title and and optional Form Description.
Gravity Forms will guide you with instructions on how to create a form.
Ensure you select Save Form after adding fields.
Notifications
Notifications are sent upon submission of a form. To change your notification settings,
Select the form you wish to update and select Settings > Notifications. Here you can edit existing notifications or add new ones.
Either Edit and existing notification or select Add New to create a new notification.
Adjust the settings to your preferences. You can enter:
Name.
Send To settings.
Enter Email: Enter an email (or list of emails separated by semicolons) to send each confirmation to that email.
Select a Field: This allows you to select a field containing emails in the form to send to, which is useful when sending confirmations to the user submitting.
Configure Routing: This allows you to conditionally send emails.
From Name
From Email
Reply To
BCC
Subject
Message
Finally, select Update Notification at the bottom of the page.
In your message, ensure you include the {all_fields}
if you want the submission to show in the email.
Confirmations
Confirmations display for the user on the site after they submit the form. To edit the confirmations,
Select the form you wish to updated and select Settings > Confirmations. Here you can edit existing notifications or add new ones.
Either Edit and existing confirmation or select Add New to create a new confirmation.
Adjust the settings to your preferences. You can enter:
Confirmation Type: This should be left as Text.
Message
Finally, select Save Confirmation at the bottom of the page.
