Menus
Menus may be edited to meet the needs of your users. These menus appear at the top of Fringe Learn.
Editing Menus
To edit a menu,
Navigate to Appearance > Menus.
Select the menu you wish to edit from the dropdown and select Select.
Add items to the menu. Examples of items that can be added include pages, posts, custom links, and more.
Finally, select Save Menu.
Restricting Menu Items by User Role
Sometimes, you may wish to change menus based on the user's role. This is useful for Group Leaders, where you may want to add a link directly to their dashboards. To restrict a menu item to users with specific roles,
Select the menu and menu item you wish to restrict.
Select the dropdown caret in the menu item to see more options.
Under Target audience, select Logged in Users.
Under Target role, select the roles that you wish to see this menu item.
Finally, select Save Menu.
Menu items that are restricted by user roles are inherited by users with roles with higher permissions. For example, if you are an Administrator, you will see menu items restricted to users with the Group Leader role.
